• profileMy name is Emily and I'm 23 years old living in Massachusetts. I currently am an unemployed college graduate. I absolutely love baseball, and the Boston Red Sox, and Josh Beckett. I also am fascinated with weather, which most people find odd. I love photography and Bob Dylan too. I hope to one day conquer the world with my writing. But we'll see.

Lots of Random

I just got home from my internship. I’m increasingly annoyed. They cut my article out of the playbill because of space reasons but they included my bibliography AND they didn’t even tell me about it. It would’ve been fine if they had told me about it beforehand because I know the editing process and I know it can be a bitch to fit everything in there. But I had to flip through the actual book to see my name on the cover and none of my work in there. They should’ve just taken my name off it. That’s all I’m going to say about that.

This kid I went to high school with finished 24th overall at the Boston Marathon on Monday. He finished in 2hours and 25 minutes. That’s unbelievable. The marathon is 26 miles! He even beat Lance Armstrong by a LOT! Armstrong finished in just under 3 hours. There was an article all over my town’s newspaper today that’s why I brought it up.

I’ve lost 4lbs already, which basically means that it’s a pound a day. Not bad I think. I’m not cheating on the diet which is surprising because I have absolutely NO willpower. I’m going food shopping tomorrow to pick up some more stuff. I’m surprised, a lot of the stuff that is okay for me to eat, I actually LIKE. I like sugar-free Popsicles and sugar-free jello. Weird.

I’m almost caught up with all of my school work. It’s a three day weekend so I have time. I have all of my internship work done so now I can focus on a paper that is due on Monday. I still have to schedule final rehearsals with my actors even though I still haven’t met with one. The play goes up on May 8-9th and I still haven’t met with one of my actors. I’m grateful to have him though because he was the only one I could find! Other than these and my Theatre History final project, I’m pretty much done until finals and even those aren’t going to be as tough as I imagined. Then I’m DONE. Stupid of me, I picked a career path that needs an MFA, so grad school is a must. Eh.
